Gene for Model Number MGR4452BDW You mention to test oven temp sensor 12001655 for resistance - So I figure it is open, shorted, or what resistance is it normally. Is there also a certain resistance range for the ignitor 12400035 to tell if it is defective? My mother in laws oven does not turn on so I am trying to do some internet reading before I go to her house to troubleshoot it for her. Thanks for your help.
Answer Hello Gene, the oven sensor should show about 1050 ohms at room temp, 72 deg, the glow ignitor can have an ohm range of 40-400 ohms.
