Scott for Model Number PGR5710BDQ Hello, My Maytag oven PGR5710BDQ dosen't heat up right,sometimes it does and some don't. The top burners and broiler work fine. Would this be the over sensor? Also can you tell me the age of this? Thanks in advance
Answer Scott, I would not think the oven sensor, would be the issue, I would expect you to have an issue with an F2 or F3 error code in the clock display. The most likely issue would be the oven bake burner igniter 74007498. If it's weak, or theres a loose connection, that could cause an intermittent ignition or delayed ignition on the burner. There is a slight possibility of a sensor issue, if you recently had the oven in a "self clean"cycle, but very slight. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
