Ryan for Model Number cgr3740adw previously oven would preheat and never come back on, recently oven does not turn on at all. ignighter glows but no flame. stovetop works fine. I would like to buy a new temp sensor, but am worried if its something else i've wasted time and $, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Answer Ryan, You'd probably want to start at the oven igniter, They can glow, but not produce the proper voltage or amprage to the safety valve and it won't open. The igniter 12400035 needs to draw 3.2 to 3.6 amps or produce 3.2 to 3.6 VAC to the safety valve in order to open the bimetal switch in the valve, if the amps or volts are not in this range, the oven will not ignite or burn.
