Jer for Model Number 9495XRB I have a old wall oven microwave combo, The oven stopped heating up so we replaced the oven igniter ( your part), the oven did not get past 200 degrees, then we replaced the heat sensor, ( your part) and tried again but it won't get past 200 degrees. The tempature dial we set to 500 degrees and it will show it getting there in less then a minute. BUT the oven wont get past 500 degrees. Any ideas what could be the issue? aslo when trying to fix the buttons on the microwave, something shocked, but the oven was bad before this. ( i think we touch a item to metal). please help
Answer Jer, You didn't have any error codes in the oven display ? You'll need to lower the control panel and check the resistance of the temp. sensor at the connection on the "T" clock for the 1050 to 100 ohms, also check each wire for a circuit to chassis ground. If all's OK then you'll need to replace the "T" clock [Y01210109] (which has been discontinued by the manufacturer). Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, December 22, 2012
