Nelson for Model Number maytag MGS5870ADQ convection gas oven Oven heats up fine. But if exhaust fan dosn't turn on I get a f-3 code. Then if I unplug it to reset oven it works fine. Fan goes on and works well for a week or so.
Answer Hello Nelson, You will want to check the fan circuit on the control board for 120 vac. Check from CVB/fan to Neutral when unit is not operational. If there is no power then you would need to replace control board. If there is power then you would need to replace the fan. Read More...
