Stephanie for Model Number Whirlpool Senseon Dryer My dryer stopped working 18 months after purchase. The dealer came out and replaced a part but that did not fix the issue. He said the mother board was shot and quoted a few hundred dollars. I ordered and re-installed the control board but still not working. The main issue is that the start button does not stay in to keep the dryer running. Could simply replacing the switch part do the trick? The switch part # is 3395382
Answer Hello Stephanie. If you press the switch and the unit starts, but when you let go it stops, you will need to replace the motor, not the switch. The contact in the motor are bad and it will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, October 5, 2011
