Jacl for Model Number MDB7609AWW2 My start button will not start the dishwasher, even if I reset it. I'm assuming it's the control panel and repairman wants $418. to fix. How hard is it to install the control panel?
Answer Jacl, replacing the control panel W10811156 is a relatively easy repair Takes about 15 - 20 minutes to perform the repair. Remove power to the dishwasher, open the door remove the 6 screws around the top of the inner door panel( you may prefer to remove all the screws and front panel, so you don't damage or scratch it, remove the panel, transfer the control board and other parts to the new control panel and reverse the process.
