Mark for Model Number MDB7609AWW2 My dishwasher is 1.5yrs old. It will not start when I push the start buttom. The other buttons do light up when pressed. Can you give me the part number I would need to replace the control panel? Is it easy to replace the control panel, I am not a repair person?
Answer Hello Mark. If the door switches are good, you will need to order and replace the control panel W10811156 on the unit. These are not hard to replace. Make sure the power is off. Remove the inner door liner. Remove the ribbon cable from the board and remove the board. Remove the screws securing the panel and replace the control panel in the unit. Read More...
