Lovina for Model Number JDB1100AWS I have a Jenn Air Dishwasher (model no. JDB1100AWS) and have been experiencing problems with drainage. I checked the line that goes to the garbage disposal and that doesn't seem to be the problem. I've noticed that when I run a cycle without detergent the water drains just fine but as soon as I add detergent the water doesn't drain from the bottom of the dishwasher. Thanks for any assistance you can give me.
Answer Lovina, Check and make sure the detergent and rinse agent(if used) are not "sudsing" during the wash or rinse cycles. Newer style pumps, don't react well to suds in the water. If that's not the issue, you'll need to remove the lower spray arm, filter assembly, guard and dome, remove the drain baffle, and replace it WP6-919119. Read More...
