Av for Model Number Whirlpool W10500310 Dishwasher is not draining. I removed the drain pump W10724439. It shows 41 ohms between its terminals. Is that the problem? The drain hose with flap is full of water and the flap is holding it - I think it is supposed to be that way. What else should I test before buying a pump? Thanks in advance.
Answer AV, a drain pump can be tested for incoming voltage when the unit is in operation and in a drain cycle to identify if there is a failure with voltage supply or the part itself.
