Rover for Model Number MDB4409PAW0 Sometime after I ran the dishwasher, I found that it had stopped and was still full of clean water and the dishes appeared to be clean. From the time that elapsed, I figured that it stopped or didn't start during the final drain. None of the buttons appeared to work. No sound, no lights, nothing. I checked the circuit breaker. While the dishwasher was running, I detected a very strange chemical-like odor but no smoke. I figure that, if it were the capacitor, there would be a humming sound when the motor tried to start. No humming. If I replace the drain motor, would the new one come with its own capacitor? The dishwasher is 10 years old.
