Mark for Model Number ED25PQXYW01 Unit stopped cooling, compressor would not come on. Replaced cold control thermostat (part no 2188202), still not cooling, compressor wont come on. Replaced overload relay assembly (part no 819099), it clicked when power was turned on. I noticed it was not connected properly so I changed it. It then allowed the compressor to come on (at least it sounded like it was running) but it still will not cool. Is it possible that I damaged the part and it caused the "click", I assume not since the compressor seemed to be running after the correction. The other thing I noticed is that the compressor was pretty warm before I replaced any parts. The coils were dirty and I cleaned them. Can someone offer any help in resolving this problem? Thanks!
Answer Hello Mark. No, it is not damaged or the compressor would not run. It sounds like you have a sealed system failure and will need an HVAC tech to repair the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 28, 2014
