Craig R for Model Number MER6772BAS Maytag MER6772BAS, upper oven all over the place temp wise. Broiler works, bottom element not so much, intermittent, but mostly no. Sensor reading 1080 ohms, within spec. Elements reading 20 ohms (+/-), within spec. No observable evidence of damage/wear on any of it. Some *clicking* going on in the control panel on occassion. I am told there is an "oven cycle relay", but I can't find it on any parts breakdown unless it is the "Auxilliary relay". If so, I suspect that to be the culprit...but I'm guessing. What do you think? TIA for your input. Craig
Answer Craig, You will want to check the wiring of the oven sensor from the sensor to the control board. If the wiring checks ok then the issue will either be the auxillary relay or the control board that is causing the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, January 27, 2015
