Michael for Model Number Sve47500w Jennairr oven won't heat past 100 degrees. Girlfriend said it gave f5code. Bake element had a hole burnt in it and has been replaced. Down draft board has a burnt spot also but the down draft blower works fine. Could that board cause the oven not to heat?
Answer Hello Michael. Yes, a bad relay board 12001694 can cause the oven not to heat properly. Test and see if there is voltage coming fromm the board to the element. If not, you have a bad board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
