Donna July 14, 2020 for Model Number SVD48600W My downdraft fan will not come on. The button will beep when pressed but fan will not come on. I have replaced the relay board a couple of times. But I can’t remember before if the beep would happen or nothing would happen when the button was pressed. I have replaced the fan motor, the large control panel in the back also. Can’t figure out what is causing the fan not to work. If it is just the relay board, would the beep happen when you press the button, or is it something else? I’m running out of ideas and money.
1 Answer Hello Donna, on this model, the 2-speed downdraft vent motor is controlled by the small rear relay board (71002035) which has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. Read More...
Amit December 28, 2017 for Model Number SVD48600W I have a Jennair SVD48600W where the OFF button on the control panel (Keypad) is not working. I have narrowed down that the ribbon cable is at fault. My Range is white and the white keypad panel is no longer available. So I wanted to try and jump the specific wire in the ribbon cable which is associated with the OFF switch. The problem is, I don't know which of those 17 wires is the one for OFF button. Is there a way I can get a wiring diagram for that ribbon cable, so I know which of the wires is for the OFF button? or a way to test the cable?
1 Answer Amit, Unfortunately the manufacturer does not provide a keychart for the ribbon harness to be able to determine which leads go to the off. Read More...
Robert C August 23, 2017 for Model Number SVE47600B We were using bake mode and it was working fine. All of sudden it was beeping and I believe fault code was F2. At that point broiler element was on, I dont believe bake element was on and I could not shut it off. Turned off breaker. Let unit cool. Turned on breaker and broiler element came on by itself. Need help
1 Answer Robert, This would be a over temp error and would be a relay board that is faulty and would need to get the relay board W10757086. Read More...
Dirk June 16, 2017 for Model Number svd486oow I have a Jenn Air gas oven model SVD48600W the problem is everything works except the down draft fan. If I push the fan button on the touch pad nothing happens. I believe the fan is supposed to work when I select the fan at three different speeds so is the relay board 12001694 the correct part to solve this problem? How would I diagnose this problem? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Dirk, The most common cause of this is the switch in the control panel WP71002310. This panel crosses to a black one since the white is no longer available. The next two causes are the downdraft relay board 12001694 and the fan motor WPW10201322 itself. To determine which is the cause, start at the fan motor and test for 120Vac when the button is pressed. If nothing is there, the motor is not the issue and you will need to go to the downdraft pc board and test for 120Vac to the board when the button is pressed. If voltage is there, the button on the control panel will be the issue. If voltage is getting to the board but not passed to the fan motor, the board will be the issue. Read More...
Sandy May 22, 2017 for Model Number SVD48600P My oven will not heat above 200 degrees. Broil seems to work fine. Any ideas on the problem?
1 Answer Hello Sandy. Test the bake element WP71001680 and see if it is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html If it is good, then the relay board on the unit may be bad. The relay board is discontinued for this model. Read More...

Tim March 24, 2016 for Model Number SVD48600B Just replaced touchpad and clock board now when you turn on the grill burner the clock resets to some number or everything goes blank on the touchpad but the top burners work. Then you switch off power and turn back on and you see clock and all oven controls work again. Once you have done this you can turn that burner on 10 times and it is ok, but if you leave it sit for 15min and and turn the grill on and it starts all over again the other grill burner lights and the clock goes to timer.
1 Answer Tim, You will want to check the wiring of the unit to make sure that there are no pinched wires. This would be the most common cause for this issue. Read More...
Al August 31, 2015 for Model Number jennair svd48600b What parts are needed to repair the F1 and F7 codes?
Richard B. June 14, 2015 for Model Number SVE47600 Getting an error code of FC. Nothing on Jenn Air will work. What part do I need to fix.Manuel says a PRB but I can't seem to find it when looking for parts. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Richard, This is the fault code for the temperature sensor 12001656. You will need to test it for resistance, (about 1100 ohms at about 70°F). Once the temperature sensor has been tested and the harness has been tested and eliminated, the oven board W10757086 is suspect. Read More...
