Giget for Model Number whirlpool imperial series gas dryer My dryer wont heat and wont shut off on its own, it dries on cold air but takes forever. Have to shut it off by hand. The model # is smeared I cant read it. Thank you.
Answer Hello Giget. You will need to test the thermostats and the flame sensor and make sure they are good. They should read closed for continuity. Also, check the igniter to see if it is good. If it is not glowing, test for power.
