Brian October 31, 2019 for Model Number JES9750CAB01 The small burner on my Jenn Air oven stopped working so I replaced the burner relay because the burner had continuity and the light comes on when I turn the burner on. The relay is getting 120 volts to it from the burner control and it has 120 volts coming out of it when the control is turned on. Burner still doesn't work.
1 Answer Brian, the switch will need to be tested for 240VAC. The terminals P1 to P2 should measure 240VAC when tested together as this is the incoming voltage. With the switch turned on, 240VAC should be measured at terminals 2 to 4. If there is not 240VAC leaving the switch, but there is entering, then the switch WP74011489 has failed and would need to be replaced. If the switch has 240VAC leaving it, then the element can be tested for 240VAC entering it. If there is 240VAC, then the element has failed. If there is not 240VAC, then the most likely issue would be a broken wire. Read More...
Jason September 17, 2019 for Model Number JES9750CAB Not sure if my model ends with 00 or 01 But the top burner on the right does not work And when the bottom burner is turned on it works fine but the indicator light for the top burner comes on?
1 Answer Hello Jason, would you repost your question with the stove's model number and we will need the model number for the type of burner cartridge also, remove the cartridge and turn it over, the model number is on the bottom of the cartridge, that way we can find the wiring diagram for that type of cartridge. Giget August 26, 2015 for Model Number whirlpool imperial series gas dryer My dryer wont heat and wont shut off on its own, it dries on cold air but takes forever. Have to shut it off by hand. The model # is smeared I cant read it. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Giget. You will need to test the thermostats and the flame sensor and make sure they are good. They should read closed for continuity. Also, check the igniter to see if it is good. If it is not glowing, test for power. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter for the testing procedures. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Glenn April 04, 2012 for Model Number jes9860baw Three of the four burners do not work any more on our electric stove top. If you swap any of the non-working burners with the one that does work, they will also work. Is this the "switch, infinite part #ap4100533" or is it a relay for the burners, such as "part # ap3854539?"
1 Answer Hello Glenn. No, it is not likely the relay. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the infinite switch WP74011489 is the issue. If power is coming to the switches, but not out to the elements, you will need to replace the switches. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Larry R. December 16, 2011 for Model Number JES9860BAS Is part #: AP3854539 one of the relays that provides power to the heating elements? I have verified the control switch is working correctly and before the right rear element quit heating, it was making a loud humming sound. I took the element assembly to the repair center and they confirmed the unit was not defective.
1 Answer Hello Larry. No, the relay you are looking for is part of the control board WP8507P234-60. This controls the baking elements. Hope this helps. Read More...
