Brian for Model Number JES9750CAB01 The small burner on my Jenn Air oven stopped working so I replaced the burner relay because the burner had continuity and the light comes on when I turn the burner on. The relay is getting 120 volts to it from the burner control and it has 120 volts coming out of it when the control is turned on. Burner still doesn't work.
Answer Brian, the switch will need to be tested for 240VAC. The terminals P1 to P2 should measure 240VAC when tested together as this is the incoming voltage. With the switch turned on, 240VAC should be measured at terminals 2 to 4. If there is not 240VAC leaving the switch, but there is entering, then the switch WP74011489 has failed and would need to be replaced. If the switch has 240VAC leaving it, then the element can be tested for 240VAC entering it. If there is 240VAC, then the element has failed. If there is not 240VAC, then the most likely issue would be a broken wire. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 31, 2019
