Jeff for Model Number PAV5157AWW Washer agitates, but will not spin. The water pumps out and motor and pullies run but transmission/tub won't turn. Is the brake bad or something else?
Answer Jeff, The most likely issue is the thrust bearing assembly 12002213. This component, locks and unlocks the brake rotor, which in turn causes the transmission gears to lock for the spin cycle.
