Ted T for Model Number MGDB800VQ0 It takes 2 hours to dry a load of clothes. Even though the dryer light says they are dry the clothes are damp in the middle. I cleaned out the vent pipe, replaced the blower thermistor, the gas valve coils and tested the other parts related to heat problems. I did not replace the main control board because of the high cost. I don't know what else I can do to correct problem. This dryer has become a real lemon. These electronic parts they are using in dryers and washers are failing too soon rendering these machines useless. Other dryers I had without electronics lasted up to 25 years and the parts were easy to diagnose and replace. Please advise ?
Answer Ted, Typically when a dryer takes longer than normal to dry then the issue would be a venting issue. Check the blower wheel to make sure that there is nothing clogged in it. If it is taking too long on auto cycle then it is possible that the moisture sensor or wiring to the sensor is faulty. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 5, 2016
