Norman for Model Number Kenmore Coldspot 10689583700 This is a stand alone icemaker. I can hear the water running when the unit is started and it will go through a cycle but only produce a few pieces of ice. I found a broken wire on the cutting grid that the ice sheet falls onto to create the cubes but dont think this has anything to do with cubes not being produce. I want to know if it can be a thermostat or is there another sensor that may be not functioning to allow the ice to be made or could it be the compressor? Thank you
