Jason J for Model Number GI15NDXTB0 My ice maker was working fine but full of mold. I removed the water pan, pump, and ice cutter. Cleaned everything and put it back together. During the fill cycle the water comes on for 10 seconds then shuts off. It is not enough water for the circulating pump to move water over the evaporator. If I manually fill the pan it circulates fine and creates ice. I thought the water level sensor was bad so I went into diagnostic mode, tested it, and it was able to tell when water touched it. Then I set the ice level to thick and turned it back on. The first cycle produced ice as normal, but the second cycle had the same issue of not filling the pan enough. What could this be? The water level switch or perhaps the control board?
