Jason for Model Number Whirlpool ED5RHGXMQ10 This ice maker is driving me bananas. I've replaced the ice maker and the water solenoid with new genuine Whirlpool parts. Still no ice. Is there a fuse, or relay that could be causing the ice maker to get no power? I have 120V at the connector to the ice maker, but still no ice being made. I tried a jumper, and I cannot force it to do a dump cycle either. Any other suggestions?
Answer Jason, the ice maker 4317943 wire harness that runs from the ice maker to the connector at the auger assembly does have an internal fuse on the black wire. This can be tested for continuity. As the ice maker was jumped from T to H and did not go into a harvest cycle, this would indicate either a wire issue, or the ice maker having failed. Read More...
