Monty for Model Number PAV2300AWW Series 12 Our washing machine advances the inner drum when the agitator moves clockwise during the wash and rinse cycles. When washer is in spin cycle everything works properly. It looks like a brake issue of some type but I am not sure of my diagnosis or if it is the stater brake or regular brake. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I NEED A SPECIAL TOOL FOR THESE REPAIRS. Also the washer goes out of balance very easy, nearly every load we wash. Many of those loads are only a few items that are grouping in one area. I know when this happens we have to redistribute the load. Larger loads are also going out of balance on spin, part of this may be due to the inner drum rotating when the agitator moves clockwise during wash and rinse cycles. It seems to cause larger loads to be grouped together much more than normal. I have ordered a Snubber ring but do you think I may also need new springs? The springs I have now will return the tub to normal position if pushed in any direction. Would you advise trying the new snubber and your suggested fix for the drum advancing issue first before ordering springs?
Answer Hello Monty. It sounds like you will need to replace the rotor WP35-6714, the stator WP35-6918, and the snubber WP21002026 on the unit. This should repair the issues your having with the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, February 16, 2017
