Part Number: OEM13233375
Manufacturer Part Number: W10247710

The Suspension Spring Kit is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. This kit includes multiple springs that support the washer tub, helping to absorb shocks and reduce vibrations during the wash cycle, ensuring smooth and stable operation.

Causes of a bad suspension spring can include wear and tear over time, heavy loads, or unbalanced loads that put excessive strain on the springs. Damaged or worn springs can lead to increased movement and instability, affecting the washer’s performance and potentially causing damage to other components.

Symptoms of a bad suspension spring include:

  • Excessive shaking or vibrating during the wash cycle
  • The washer tub appearing out of alignment or sagging
  • Loud banging noises during operation
  • The washer moving or "walking" across the floor

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Jason G. for Model Number BRAVOS AUTOMATIC WASHER MVWB300WQ0

When we load our washer and start any cycle it will count down to 32 minutes while filling up the tub with water and stay at 32 minutes. Once the tub is full, the timer jumps to 4 minutes. The tub drains while the timer counts down from 4,3,2,1 minutes. Two beeps and the the screen displays OL. The washer does not run through the full cycle. It does not matter if there are 0 items of clothing or 5. What could be the cause of this problem?

Answer

Hello Jason, This is very likely either from the use of un-diluted fabric softener or a small article of clothing has gotten between the tubs. You see, in this design, as the tub fills the tub floats up to a section of the drive mechanism which causes agitation. It cannot agitate if the tub doesn't float up. In the same instance, the unit cannot spin if the tub doesn't float back down to mesh with the drive that allows spin. The first thing l would do in the diagnosis for this issue is to pull the inner tub to inspect for foreign items or a fabric softener build-up. If this doesn't produce satisfactory results, use the tech sheet to pull any fault codes and run the diagnostics explained on it. The tech sheet should be located in a zip-lock baggy that is glued to the front of the inside of the cabinet. When the main top is raised, it will be accessible.
