Neil for Model Number Maytag stove MERH865RAQ1 The front left burner cycles on and off, not heating properly. The infinite switch internal contactor is making and breaking every 5-10 seconds. I got a replacement from your store, it does the same thing - did I order the wrong component? Is this not the problem? Just replaced the front left burner, that did not resolve it either - seems to be the contactor in the switch.
Answer Hello Neil. It is normal for the elements to cycle on and off on the units. Some will stay on longer than others, depending on the setting on the switch. The only other thing that could be an issue here is bad wiring on the unit. Look for loose connections or broken connections on the unit. Read More...
