Sharon for Model Number MER6872BCQ Hi, we were given a used maytag gemini and generally really like it the post on the infinite switch for the double (small/large) burner was broen so we have replaced. Now when turning the burner on only the small element will turn on regardless of the setting of the switch on the front panel? Is this most likely an element on switch problem? Trying to figure out what parts to order. Thanks
Answer Sharon, You will want to double check the wiring of the switch but sounds likely that the issue may be in the rocker switch that changes the setting from small to large burner.
