Hello Elizabeth. Unplug the unit and remove the back panel off the control panel. Now, remove the knob off the switch by pulling it off. Then remove the push to start switch and wire the new switch 279173 as the old one was wired. There are markings on the switch to help you do this. Hope this helps.
