Tommy for Model Number WED5100VQ1 My dryer would not dry on Timed setting dry. But I found out it works fine on other side of the dial which is VERY DRY and ECONOMY DRY. Is it O.K, to use like that or do I need a new timer? I also found Temp Setting Switch Plug CHARRED where the resistor or capacitor was touching. Do I need to replace the PLUG or the Switch or both??? Thanks In Advance Tommy
Answer Tommy, If the connector is charred at the temp switch would recommend to replace the temp switch and replace any terminals that may be damaged. The timer would most likely also need to be replaced unless you just want to use the auto cycle. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, October 5, 2016
