Ajay for Model Number KSSO42QMB My water dispenser is not working for my Kitchenaid side by side. The ice maker is making ice and it dispenses. When I press the water paddle it will click but no water comes out. Would this be the micro switch. Also, the unit has wood panelling on it, so how do you get to the dispenser panel off to get to the micro switch?
Answer Ajay, At the bottom of the door there is a water connection. Disconnect the water line and push the dispenser and see if the water comes out. If water comes out then the water line in the door is frozen and is not a replaceable part. The door which has been discontinued would need to be replaced. Read More...
