Kybbwgal for Model Number ED22PEXHT02 Water dispenser in the door suddenly doesnt' work but we hear sound coming from a motor when we depress the lever. The ice maker still dispenses ice but not 100% sure it is making ice. The sound from the water filling the tray in the ice maker part is "funny" sounding, not like it was before. Does this sound like a water fill valve or motor switch error? Is there some simple troubleshooting I can do in addition to the multimeter tests?
Answer Hello KyBBWGal. If there is power to the water valve, and the unit does not dispense water, you will need to replace the valve on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
