Answer Retired, When testing or replacing the door switches, it is not necessary to discharge the capacitor and you would just need to remove power from the unit. The only time the capacitor will be required to be discharged will be if the transformer, diode, capacitor or magnetron is needing to be tested or replaced. Read More...
