David M. for Model Number MTW5770TQ0 Hi, I have a minor question. I'm replacing the lid switch on my Maytag bMTW5770TQ0. I watched the video on the whirlpool washer and understand the process. The problem I have is my machine does not disassemble the same way as the Whirlpool. Can you help?
Answer Hello David. You control panel has two clips under the front corners. You will release those with a flat blade putty knife and flip the control panel back to access the switch like the video shows. Then it will work the same way on replacing the switch. Read More...
