Shaun for Model Number RAS7133RQ3 Hello, after unplugging the lid switch wires from the switch, one of the terminal ends on the plug is bad. Can I leave the lid switch unplugged and the washer still work.

The purpose of the lid switch is to act as a safety device so that when the washer is in use, if the lid is opened it stops the agitation and spin to prevent injury to the user. To correct the wire terminal, you would want to change out the wiring 3957494 so that the unit can operate as intended. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 18, 2019
