Angelle for Model Number WTW5800SW0 How do I remove the top panel to gain access to the switch? My model does not have the 2 philips screws on the back panel that allow the panel to slide forward as in the first step of removing the top panel.
Answer Angelle, the lid switch WP8318084 can be accessed by removing the console. This can be done using a putty knife to slide it under each endcap from the front to press in on a spring clip. While pressing in on the clip, that side can be slightly lifted and the other side would need the same done.
