Daphne for Model Number RTW4340SQ0 We viewed your video about the lid switch replacement but our machine is a different model so the lid switch in a different place. the video shows the lid switch being underneath top part of the washer but on our model the lid switch is on top but under the control panel. So our question is do we still need to take the machine and separate it from the back of the machine and turn it upside down? or can we fix it from the top? we would appreciate some guidance with how to replace this part. Thank you. Daphne
Answer Hello Daphne. No, if your lid switch is under the console, there is no need to remove the cabinet. You can replace it from the top of the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 29, 2013
