Anne for Model Number Roper washer Washer was filled and started its cycle. When my daughter went to double check if the water level was adequate and when she closed the lid the washing machine did not continue its cycle. I tried to add more water and that work but there was no agitation, and machine would not drain. It was as if motor died. Could it be lid switch nothing?
Answer Hwllo Anne. Sure, if the lid switch is bad, it will cause the issues you are having with the unit. You will need to check and test the lid switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
