Luisa M. for Model Number taws750pq0 I recently replaced my lid switch but now the washer stops in mid cycle. I noticed the part that goes into the lid switch is partially burnt out. I would like to replace the part that inserts into the lid switch but am not sure which part that would be. If I do obtain the part, is it wise to splice the new part onto the old set of wires?
Answer Hello Luisa. If the molex plug that plugs into the lid switch is burnt, you will need to replace the wiring harness 3956952. They do not recommend splicing the wires to do the repair. You will need to change the harness. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 17, 2011
