Monique, The lid switch is located under the main top of the unit. To replace the lid switch you will remove the 2 screws securing the control panel, which will be located on the back. Once removed roll the control panel from the bottom front up. There will be 2 clips that you will use a flat blade screw driver to pop out and pull the cabinet off the unit. This will allow access to the lid switch which is locate at the rear of the main top.
