This water level pressure switch senses the tub's water level and relays it to the washer's control. Replacing a failed switch restores proper filling and cycle progression while helping prevent overfilling, underfilling, or long-fill interruptions.

  • Monitors air pressure from the tub to determine water level
  • Signals the control/timer to stop filling and start the wash or spin
  • Helps prevent overfill conditions and incorrect water levels
  • Helps resolve symptoms like no fill/long fill, continuous filling, or cycles that won't advance
What's included: 1 water level pressure switch Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off water supply before servicing
  • Access the control/console area; note wire and hose positions for reassembly
  • Transfer the pressure hose and electrical connector to the new switch; ensure the hose is clear, undamaged, and fully seated
  • After installation, run a diagnostic or calibration procedure for your model

Answer

Robby, The air tube has to be free of pin holes, kinks, clogs and debris. The air in the tube is pushed up the tube and into the water level switch, this pressurizes the bellow inside and opens the circuit to stop the fill. if there's an air leak, etc. the washer will continue to fill. The replacement hose insures a more tight fitting when mounted to the tub outlet and the switch. Another quick check to make: start the washer in a wash cycle, while the machine is filling, press in on the timer knob several times, the water should stop flowing, or unplug the power cord from the outlet while the water is filling 9do this several times). if the water continues to flow, you'd have a faulty fill valve, if the water stops flowing then you'd have a faulty water level switch
