Jason for Model Number WFW9200SQ00 My washer keeps throwing a f20 code. I'm getting water in the and there's no clogs anywhere in the machine. I checked the flow switch. Should I feel air coming out of it when it's running?
Answer Hello Jason, As per the tech sheet the possible causes for the F20 code are as follows: If there is water in the unit: – Verify that the pressure switch hose is in good condition and properly connected to tub and pressure switch. 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Verify there is not a siphon problem. 3. Verify wire harness connections to inlet valves, pressure switch, flow meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check all hoses for possible leaks. 5. Plug in washer or reconnect power. 6. Verify pressure switch operation. 7. Verify flow meter operation by blowing air through the part and measuring the resistance. 8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle. The flow switch should change resistances depending on how much air you blow through it. You will feel the air coming out of the other side when blowing through it. The pressure switch will click when maximum amount of pressure to activate the switch is met and it will read open until the pressure is relieved. You should refer to the units' tech sheet when testing. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 7, 2016
