Dan for Model Number LEQ8858HQ1 Hello, my dryer does dry clothes but it is taking longer than normal. It is taking 1.5 to 2 cycles in the accudry cycle, which works better than timed drying. I have continuity in the thermostat near the blower, in the heating element and the fuse. I was not able to check the thermostat as suggested to see if what temperature it cuts out at. What part/parts do you recommend I replace. Thank you for your input.
Answer Hello Dan. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly.
