Alice Whirlpool dryer thermostate model 3390291, previous 696397 - does not heat - will I need to replace thermostat fuse when replacing thermostat. Thermostat is at bottom - is the fuse at top? thanks so much.
Answer Alice, Yes, the factory recommends you replace both the hi limit thermostat and the thermal fuse, if the fuse "blows" and the dryer wont heat.
