Jeannie for Model Number maytag front loader dryer MED9700sqo When I press the start button the dryer clicks but does not turn on. I have not tried replacing anything yet. Any suggesting on where I should start? It was heating fine when it stopped rotating. It sounds as if one of the modules are not talking to the motor for it to turn. Any help would be great. Answer Hello Jeannie. You will need to check the thermal fuse, door switch, and broke belt on the unit. Any can cause the issue you are having with the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
