Shannon for Model Number GEW9250PW0 I have replaced the heater element because it was bad. It worked for about week then it quite heating clothes again. I checked it for continuity and its still good. I went ahead and checked the everything and the thermistor had no continuity so replacing that. I also checked high limit thermostat and that was good, but when I checked the thermal cut off fuse it had no continuity, so would that be the other problem? The dryer was heating and so I switched it over to time dry to take the cold out off the clothes and it didn't heat. I also set it back to heavy duty dry and still no heat. any recommendations would be great :)
Answer Hello Shannon. The thermistor should show resistance, not continuity. The thermal cut off should read closed. If open, it is the reason for the no heat issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 13, 2014
