Brendan for Model Number Whirlepool Duet Dryer Today our dryer started acting up. Sometimes it would start, others the light would just stay on sensing. We left it there for some time and it eventually started running. The next load it worked fine. Seems to be an off and on thing. Could it be a thermal fuse heating up ?
Answer Hello Brendan. Check and see if the motor is over heating, or if the control board Is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
