Dale, The thermal fuse in located on the heater element housing. You need to unplug the power cord or remove power to the dryer, Remove the two hex-head screws from the bottom flange of the toe panel. Pull the panel out at the bottom, pull down, and remove the panel. You will now have access to the housing and the fuse. There are no specialty tools needed,other than 1/4 in sockets and wrench or nut drivers, Thanks and Good Luck
