Alex for Model Number gew9200lw0 Our dryer produces no heat. There's good power (240v), the drum turns as it should, and the heating element appears intact (9 ohms). Could it be the fuse? Something else? How would I diagnose? Thanks for shedding light (= heat; haha). Alex
Answer Hello Alex. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer at the terminal block and make sure the block is not burnt. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity.
