Ric for Model Number Whirlpool Duet Electric Dryer, GEW9200LW1 Model GEW9200LW1 wont heat. Replaced Heating element, User Interface, and Thermistor. Ducts all clean.Any ideas?
Answer Ric, Are you sure you have 220-240 VAC at the terminal block on the back of the dryer ? Is there a reason you didn't check or replace the thermal cut off and hi limit switch on the heater assembly 279973 ? You may want to conduct a live voltage test at the element terminals, with the dryer running and in a heat mode, but be careful, don't "zap" yourself. Good Luck Read More...
