Victor for Model Number EE2H40RD045V Hello, I have a whirlpool water heater that the circuit breaker kept tripping, because it out of guarantee the assistance is limited to selling item needed however here is what I have done:1 replaced top and bottom elements 2 replaced circuit board 3, the line is OK when the tank is not connected 4. Thr circuit breaker gets HOT 5. the top element gets warm to the touch 6 lower element remains cold 7. the voltage is 244Volt on the elements 8 the system still does the same lke before I change anything 9 do I need to replace the thermsistor? plase assis thanks Victor
Answer Victor, You will need to check the circuit breaker by checking the water heater with an clamp on meter and see what the amp draw of the water heater is and if it matches up to the circuit breaker.
